Vape Batteries Introduction
Batteries not lasting as long as they used to? Chances are that they are coming to the end of their life span and require replacing. At the Juice Shop, we stock a wide range of lithium ion batteries suitable for use within vaping devices. When purchasing a new battery, you might notice that each one has a different specification. The first thing to make sure of is that you are buying the right size battery. Lithium Ion batteries come in a few different physical sizes with the two main ones being 18650 and 21700. The 18650 is the most commonly found battery size used in vapes. Next you will want to look at the Milliamps Per Hour or mAh. The larger the mAh the longer you will be able to go between charges. Finally you have Amps which can get quite complicated but the general rule of thumb is to buy a battery with an output of 30 or more Amps.
Battery Safety
Lithium Ion batteries are extremely powerful and should be handled with extreme care and caution when not in the device. Unlike regular household batteries, if lithium ion batteries touch any sort of metal such as keys or coins, it will explode. When the batteries are inside the device, they are safe and are not a concern. Always make sure you keep your batteries cased when not in the device.
