Coil Building Introduction
It's no secret that rebuildable coils are the best way to experience any e-liquid flavour but you must be aware that these products are only for those who have thoroughly researched the rebuildable topic. Rebuildable atomisers are not for beginners! So what are we talking about? We're talking about RDAs or Rebuildable Dripping Atomizers where the user makes and installs their own hand made coils that have been built exactly to their preference. Coil building is quickly becoming an artform in its own right with various techniques used to produce some crazy results. See an example of a custom built coil by clicking here.
Building your own coils can be cost effective
Besides unbeatable flavour, vapers choose to use Rebuildable Dripping Atomisers for a number of other reasons including cost and vapour production. With the average cost of a coil around the £3 mark, it can work out more cost effective to build your own coils. Most people start with a length of wire and use a coil jig to create the loops/wraps before trimming the legs and pinning it into the tank. Once the metal coil wire is in place, the user will thread a piece of cotton through the loops which will help absorb the e-liquid.
Every time the user wants to vape, they will have to remove the top can and drip the e-liquid directly from the bottle onto the exposed coils. Expect around four to five puffs before you need to repeat. In order to avoid the hassle of having to constantly drip your e-liquid onto the coil, the RTA or Rebuildable Tank Atomiser was born, employing exactly the same technique as above but with the addition of an e-liquid chamber much like a traditional vape tank.
Again, always ensure you have carried out the correct research before attempting anything to do with rebuildables.
